Teaching and learning

It baffles my admittedly small mind that our society wants the quick way, the easy way.

I recently watched a video teaching a certain kayaking skill from a respectable channel.

The narrator suggested that doing a certain skill may be more difficult in rough weather. The whole reason it would be more difficult is because they were showing the easy method of the skill.

If we take the extra time to learn how to do things the right way then we will be better prepared to deal with situations as they become more dynamic.

The easy way isn’t always the best way.
